Ok, u guys are all waaay smarter than me and cool about this stuff, so I appreciate the help in advance. I got a new iPod. My original library is on my PC, desktop. I want my main library to be on my MB pro. How can I change this and transfer all songs from my iPod to my MB pro? Also, I've got some movies from torrents and need to learn how to put them on the new pod, actually can't even get them imported to iTunes. Thanks for helping the old guy (26).

hook up ur ipod and go to preferences in itunes and ipod and it should need to be reformatted for the mac and then u will want to automatically update the library.
as far as movies just drag the file onto the itunes symbol in ur doc. the delete the origonal file because there will be a copy in the itunes movies folder. but check first in spotlight just to be sure.
also the movies have to be mp4 to play on ur ipod. you can put any kind into itunes but only p4 will work on ipod
hope i helped

Assuming all the music is on your ipod right now you can use the program "Senuti" to send anything from your ipod to your mac. It's a strictly mac program and i've used it successfully twice once when i got a new computer and once when my hard drive died. Anything that you downloaded you have to give permission to be played on the new computer. I forget where it is but if you e-mail apple they'll tell you how to do it.
