Race plates

i have come across some fks 155 for a pretty good price
the only problem is that they have a race plate on them
my question is: can i take the toe and heelpieces off the plate and use them regularly without the plate??

Pretty sure the FSK plates are just solid blocks that screw to the toe and heel using the regular screws (blocks have their own screws) so you can just take the blocks off and you're good to go. Definitely check the screw depth first though to make sure they're not too long.
