I actually use my shoes, I don't collect them because my shoes get too dirty. Respek to those who have a collection because I can't keep my shoes clean enough I don't know how you guys do it.

I picked Nike because they have a long history of well documented abuse, including that of children. Yes, worse than adidas, and most other factories in the area. A "nike shoe collection thread" was too juicy, I'm sorry.
And about them being 'generous' for providing any wage at all...If corporations were not in bed with their governments, laying "property taxes" and zoning regulations, driving up prices, so that peasants can no longer afford the land needed to sustain themselves and produce food, they could refuse this abusive treatment. They are slaves in every since of the word.
Corporations own and pollute their lands, forcing them into wage-slavery in order to stay alive. You support this arrangement by sending money to these corporations. It is that simple.
