US and Canadian Dollars

So I was at the bank today cashing a US cheque, and since i play online poker I get US cheques very often. Im from Canada, and the guy at the bank suggested opening a US account so that instead of converting it now while the exchange is so shitty, to wait it out until the US dollar rises, then convert it back over and make some cash off it. So I made a US account, but does anyone know if the US dollar is gonna rise or the Canadian dollar is going to fall. The guy at the bank said this would happen but I have no idea.

I dont think playing the exchange rate is that great of a idea, your hardly going to make any money because the difference between american and canadien money is only going to change by a couple cents.

So if your lucky and the canadien dollar falls your at most going to make like 20 bucks, which isnt really worth it because you wont have access to the money.
