Well, we were hucking 1's and 3's off a rock today, and off one of my 1's I came down with all my weight forward, leaning over my tips, and put tons of stress on my skis, and popped out of one of my bindings. I checked it out and noticed my edge was snapped in 2 and bent a bit right under the heelpiece of my binding. I'm about 5'5 , 120 pounds, and was on 153cm '07 invader minis. Nearly the same thing happened on my chronic mini's last year, and the shop gave me store credit and I ordered these invaders online. So do you think there is anything I can do to warranty them? They skied fine for the rest of the day, but they can only get worse, and these skis are getting pretty damn short on me anyways.
IF I do end up searching for new skis, anyone have idea for what size I should get? like I said, I'm 5'5 120, and will probably center mount, or close to it, anything I get. I kinda want something stiffer than my invaders, since they have no pop, and didn't give me a very stable feel in the air or landing, but they were minis, so they were wicked narrow. I was thinking maybe ar6's, anthems, or 07 chronics/blends, but those might be a little too stiff for what I'm used to? Any suggestions appreciated.
