08 thrusters

alright so im sick of my old heavy ass skis so i want to get some new ones. im 5'10 165lbs. and im looking at this year's thrusters. does anybody have em that could tell me how they like em? are they pretty light? i was also wondering how they hold up on rails and stuff. iv'e been hearing mixed stories of wood/foam core? anybody know for sure?  thanks.

My friend has them and he likes them A LOT.  Hes about 5'8" 140lbs and he's on 181s and they're perfect.  Very light and pretty soft, but not too soft.  Definitely quality skis.

oh yea i forgot to ask too. im on 180's right now, and i don't know whether to get 180's or 170's for the thruster. to me it seems that a 170 ski would be easier to spin/grab plus it would be lighter. does it make that much a difference? plus im still growing so i think by next winter ill be at least 6 feet. i probably just answered my own question but whatever.

Get the 181s.  They will be about just as tall as you and that's where you want them for the most part.  It will make the ski much more stable.

i just got them in the mail and they are super sick and light but i havent skied them yet. graphics are rediculous

i just got a pair of last years this morning, so excited to ride them i'm about the same size, 6'1" any ideas of waht to mount them with?
