"Helping" Ski Patrol

Yo,

last night i was skiing quite fast in a very congested area on the mtn, right before day skiing ended. and i was there for night skiing, as i went past one red coat, he yelled at me i kept on going and told my friend grant to just "KEEP GOING LITTLE BUDDY" (hes in like 6th grade)

the next red coat had a mega phone. and yelled at me to stop and click out of my skis. so after some hesitation, i did. dont get me wrong grant and i both thought about just ditchn. but i have morals and wanted to keep my pass.

SO, the ski patrol tells me i can either help him bitch at people. or loose my pass for the night, (I dont have a season) and the night had just started.

is it gaper that i stood and told people to slow down for 10 minuets so i didnt loose my pass?

i got to use the mega phone for a bit....

Cool story.

But did you seriously just tell that story to ask us if it was a "gaper" thing to do when you helped out the ski patrol yell at people? Well, you didn't lose your pass so thats all that matters. Who cares if you had to "help" a ski patrol for 10 minutes.

How could it possibly be a bad decision if you got to keep your pass for only 10 min of work. Why do you feel the need to ask newschoolers to verify your decisions?

No, you did the right thing. If you ever come and live out west you will find that most of us will do whatever we can for patrol.
Reasons-
1. They are the ones that save your ass when you are in real trouble
2. They might take you to "open" a run no one has skied yet
3. The more of them you know the less lkely you are to get your pass pulled for something stupid
4. They are not the police/not who you need to be rebelious against
5. They are fun to party with

yes it was the worst descicion you have ever made, everyone on newschoolers is now going to hate you forever and you will never have another friend in your life because of it

basically you just suck at life



haha not really....but you dont need to ask NS if it was a good descision or not...you got to keep skiing so who cares

haha fuckin ski patrol.....i wouldve made a good time of it, i wouldve yelled at people to slow down, even if they were going slow...
