THE WINTER STORM WARNING IS NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM MST MONDAY FOR THE WEST CENTRAL MOUNTAINS...THE BOISE MOUNTAINS...AND THE CAMAS PRAIRIE.
A STRONG PACIFIC STORM WILL MOVE ACROSS THE AREA THROUGH MONDAY WITH STORM TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS RANGING FROM 4 TO 8 INCHES IN THE VALLEYS TO 6 TO 15 INCHES IN THE MOUNTAINS. BELOW 4500 FEET TONIGHT AND EARLY MONDAY MORNING...SNOW MAY MIX WITH FREEZING RAIN OR RAIN. A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH MONDAY MORNING AND WILL BE FOLLOWED BY GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS PRODUCING AREAS OF BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW.
