We’ve upgraded construction to make our new Bros even better. Every component in these skis is the best material available to make a lightweight wood/carbon/glass ski. This ski is manufactured using high tech hybrid carbon fiber/fiberglass cloth to keep the weight down and performance up.  We used World Cup cores from Europe for snap and strength and put Isosport’s ISE topsheet on the skis for a look nobody can match.  This ski is nothing but top shelf, manufactured in Europe through a partnership with AK Skis of Switzerland.  The extra thick sintered bases have 2.3 mm edges.

Our new 174s have the same 125-99-114 dimensions that skiers worldwide love so much for performance in every condition, from ice to powder.  In addition, the skis have the same 32 meter radius that made the 179 Bro our most popular ski.  We don’t think anyone could build a tougher, more perfect ski.

thats great and all, but it really doesnt say what they are good for. charging? floating in deep pow? BC booters? howwolll we ever know....

They are good on everything..You can charge with them because of the stiff flex and minimal sidecut and blast through anything..You can throw them around in tight trees and chute because of the light weight..You can truly do anything with this ski.

They are a little stiff for me as an everyday ski, but then again I'm 135lbs...They are deffinately sick skis..Bomber construction...absolutely bomber.

that makes sense. I'm about the same weight as you too. I guess they work great though for the maggots who are either bigger or want something stiffer for bombing chutes.

If I lived out west where I could let the skis run, I would keep them hands down, but my 179 stiffs are softer and easier to throw around..

I also have a black giro 9mx..not sure what size...i think its a medium, but my head in 21.5in/54.5cm circumference and it fits me. Good condition.Make an offer..
