Ok, I dont know what happened there but anyways.....
I got some K2 PE's from SAC and need to get some bindings for them. This is the first pair of skis ive owned (snowboarding convert) so I dont know ish about what bindings to get.
Can someone give me a hand with wich types, sizes etc... of bindings to get??? THanks.

Id reccomend Tyrolia Mojo 11s for you..Since this is your first ski you dont need anything too fancy or expensive..I say just stick with the 11s. They are an awesome binding that you can find for as low as $50 sometimes when they go on SAC. Otherwise they are around $90-$110. Look PX12, Solly z12,Solly STH12 are some tohers you can look at.

since its your first pair of skis you dont need anything with a high din or anything. get a durable cheap binding. maybe a salomon s710 or 810. both pretty cheap and good for the biginner skier.

Ok. First we need to know how tall you are and how much you weigh. Some good, proven bindings off the top of my head are:
Look px12 series
4frnt Deadbolts
Rossignol Fks
Rossignol Axials (same as Px series basically)
Any of the older salomons like 912s, 914s. Not sure about the new ones, although i hear they are pretty sweet. So you might want to check out the Sth series from salomon as well.
That is just a list of popular bindings that alot of Ns seems to like.

Ok, I would definently lean more toward the Rossi Fks 120 and 155 range. A deadbolt 816 would be good, Salomon Sth16 and also salomon 916s. Given your height and weight, you will probably want something with a higher din than 12, but its all preference. You might not need the extra din, but if you do, its always good to know its there.

haha thats so funny that you and the guy above you recommended certain type of bindings for the guy without having a clue about him other than what skis he has.

i personally think a look px12 would be perfect.
no use paying through the ear for race stock bindings as a beginner skier - I say progress on your current gear and then upgrade as you get better

considering its his first pair of skis..i think its reasonable to conclude he wont be setting his bindings above 12...he doesnt need a look p18 and if he did hed know it.

i didn't say he needed p18's
I apologise, your response was actually quite good
I'm not saying i'm a binding king, but in respect to willman's comment telling a guy to get s810s without knowing anything about him isn't very good advice..810s are shithouse bindings that will no doubt break with a heavy, tall skier on them. e.g a guy that is 6'3, 200..
s810s are cheap shit.

No apology needed... I wasnt trying to imply that you said he needed p18s..I was just trying to say that if he needed something special he would know it,...Granted he is a big dude in a few years he might need something along those lines.
And I as well would never put anyone on s810s.

I hate to steal this thread but I am in the same situation, I am a new skiier (snowboard convert as well) and through this site I have narrowed it down to what I think should be the 4FRNT deadbolt 412 (also because i can get them for mad cheap) but the guy I am getting them from keeps telling me I should get the padlocks?! I am 5'11 160lbs and i will be skiing 50/50 park/all mountain for the first while then move to all park once i get my shit down. thanks in advance

Deadbolt 412s sound perfect to me...its lowest din for a deadbolt, and if you can get em for super cheap why not.
