just finished an edit with my new camera/ software and im really excited about it. great quality, but 129 MB.50 is the limit and i uploaded it on brightcove but it got converted to flash player and lost some quality

my question is, how do i upload this video without losing any quality?

You kind of have to do it yourself dude, everyone has different cameras and different footage at different sizes etc and you just have to play with the setting until you nail it.

well i'm assuming 90 percent of the kids on this site are using MiniDV, which would mean that it is in fact the same footage at the same size etc.

True, well for a simple explaination is export in full quality from your editor (hopefully not iMovie) and then compress in QTP and you can get almost full screen videos that are like 3-4 mins long under 50mbs.

Or you can export using quicktime conversion (works with iMovie too). You'll need a mac though. Did he say if he had a mac?

Also, when you put video into those streaming flash sites they're going to lose quality. Thats just how those websites work.
