hey ive just got myself some AR6 181, im 5'10 75 kg (160ish poundes) ski mountain and been skiing park for the past few years but no as a park rat. ive previously been skiing on some 176 rossi bc which i love. with recomendations i chose the 181's and going to mount center or near, but they just look huge and are about a couple inces taller than me. ive never skied on anything this long and for primarily a park ski (but will skiing all over the montain too) i just think 181 is to big.
i can take these skis back for change so i was wondering what your opinions are? should i downsize to a 176 or is the 181s fine?? also i could change for another ski if you think another would be more appropriate?

Sack up and point 'em. 181 is not a big ski by any means, especially a twin. Especially for someone almost 6 feet tall.

I'm same height and ~5lbs lighter. Got some scratch wrs in 181, which are stiffer then the ar6, at true center and they're perfect. KEEP the 181.

i would say get 176s and i am about the same size as you a little lighter but i think the 176s are kinda long and mount them at 2cm they work amazing for everything switch is just fine with 2cm the whole armada pro team rides them over 1cm back most around 1.5 t hall at 2

you sir, are a sally. im 5' 10" 150 and i ride 181's. i always reccomend people to go bgger ifthey feel confident. and given his specs he should deff be a 175-182 depending on the ski and what he wants to do with it

Just go 181. If your going to mount dead center this should be a no brainer I'm surprised I haven't seen this thread clogged with posts saying to go even longer if you can. A 165cm Troublemaker mounted at reccomended would have about the same front length as your 181cm will have mounted at true center. At least that's how it worked out for me, they're gonna ski so much shorter then you'd ever think if they're gonna be at true center.

True, I somehow missed the dead center part, Id say keep them at that point, they will ski so much better for all mountain as well, otherwise they would be really short in the front for you (haha).

i have 181 moment reno jibs for park/all mountain and there mounted at dead center. and i have 180 rockerd rubies for powder. in the park, since there mounted dead center there really isnt to much ski on either side of my foot so its fine.
