Summer camp advice

Alright so for x-mas im askin for half the cost of a summer camp, but i havent made up my mind on which one to go. since i have no friends that have gone to any ski camps i was wonderin if anyone could throw there first pick out here.  im pretty stoked on COC cause last summer was lookin pretty dope.  but all i have to go by is whats on there sites so some1 with first hand experience would be nice

i heavily debated this summer weather to go to COC or HN for my first time to summer camp. after days of hard thinking i eventually settled on COC. Like you, i had to pay for half of camp andi didnt have any friends going to the same session, but as soon as i got there, even just to the airport i met a ton of kids that were pretty sweet to chill with. The features were amazing, i looked at what the other parks had and i was really glad i went to COC just for the park. Jumps,rails, everything was perfect. Food was pretty good, and activitys were really really fun. Coaches were really chill and you could basically just go up to a feature where a coach was and ask them about tricks and theyd help you out. didnt matter if they were your coach they all jsut helped you.  Good atmosphere to learn in for sure when you can choose when you want to learn.
I really reccomend COC for sure.

High North is the best.  coc has a sweet park but in the afternoon, the liftline is really long cause they share tows with public lane.  and plus the coaching isnt really as good.  High North has a dope park, you can get lots of laps and the coaches are awesome.  HN would be my first pick.

SASS is the best experience you will ever have, culturally and the skiing alone, pow days in august, are you joking, decesion made, go to argentina haha, plus you get so much more for what you pay, i was down there for 3 weeks for just over the price of one week at a glacier

ya coc's a good call, its super sick, great setup, and you get to hang in whistler, i think its aroudn the same price as windells but you don't have to worry about hiking especially for big features since they have a t-bar, and ya everyone's super chill there too, i remember tom wallisch was a guest coach during my session and he taught me bs switchups

hmm coc has real good coaching and its true that while you do get one coach, all the other coaches are hanging around and will help you whenever you need it, the lines do get crowded mid day, cause at that time everyone at coc is hitting the park, and the race camp is in full session, so from 11-1 or so the lines might be a little bit of a problem, but then you can just session a couple features while the rest of the time you can hit up the t-bar

the past two summers i have gone to high north and it is sooooo sick. and its skiiers only
they have less kids a sick hotel and the coaches are real chill, and the food is real good. but both times i have gone i have gone with friends, but the second you get on your plane there are tons of other kids going to ski camps so you get to meet a lot of nice people on the plane and in the air port. another aspect i liked about hn is that every day you get to ski with a coach and like 6 other campers and you work on what you want to do, i have no idea if coc does that or not but that was one thing that helped me become a better skier

and from what i have noticed and heard form campers that went to coc was that there are a LOT of kids (snowboarders and skiers), they stay in a ok hotel and the t-bar they have to ride has a monster line. but they have some sick ass features from what i have seen.

COC is the biggest with the mostest (and also the most expensive)  HN is an all skier camp.   They both are terrific camps for the Newschooler. Do a week at one and then do  a week at the other and I bet the following year it will still be tough to decide.

HIGH NORTH FOR SURE. Super fun, and you are hanging out and learning tricks with the skiers who invented it all. Super fun atmosphere, and the park is perfect thanks to Mr. Bishop.

yeah in the morning at COC you meet up and ride with a coach and 4 other skiers as long as you want. if you dont want to ski with the group you can leave and do your own thing or you can ride and chill with teh other kids and coach iny our group. COC's hotel was amazing! it has its own pool and 2 hotubs and its 3 campers per room max, alot of the times its less. Plus the games room with the monsterous tv, mac g4's and ps2's,wii's,a bunch of pinball machines, and a bunch of oldschool arcade machines are sweet too. Next year though i saw that coc is having its own private hotel with 2 in a room and only people at coc are going to be at the hotel. it says you can skateboard in the halls and stuff too.

I was under the impression that the HN line got pretty big too due to a couple other camps along with HN and the public park people riding it for halfpipe and such too...id say HN's line is smaller, but not by a ton.

so I keep talking to my mom about the camps and she's been like maybe so I don't know if she'd let me go or even pay for it but ignoring all that does anyone else have any experience at High North and Camp of Champions? how many people from NS go to either? any info really.. I'm still deciding and I really don't know a lot about how they work and how each of them is in terms of quality.
this seemed like the best thread to bump because it actually had some info, I search barred and there really isn't a whole lot of info or discussion about it on NS. maybe I'm just looking in the wrong places?

high north is deffintly the best option unless you really want a prestine park thats a lil better then high norths
high north has more one on one with the coaches and more lapability and fun, more skiing less bullshit and they pay for your dinner

i have been to windells, coc and momentum over the past few years.
i really would recommend the momentum camp. if your over 19 go to the adult hybrid camp.
the coaching is second to none. they actually coach you unlike coc.
the adult camp is tight too. they had a booze whop waiting for us at the intro meeting, and the coaches were real laid back. they get to have more fun at the adult camps and so intern you have more fun becuase they are.
they also take you to a different resteraunt each nite and feed you some of the best grub in whistler.
theres video they run over with you nightly on your days work.
john smart runs one of the best camps in the world up there.
check out thier website and give'em a shot. you wont be dissapointed.
The last thing about them is the lift access is just for momentum and the lines are short. they have the best slpoe angle for the park and bumps too in my opinion.

high north has video analysis and takes you to the best restraunts with one night off so you can do whatevr, high north the coaches will teach you if you ask or are doing it wrong but alot of the coaches are down for just lapping the lane and just shredding
high north is deffintly the best option, mommentums park is in my oppinion poorly set up and poorly maintained, the landings to the bigger railson the right side of the t-bar look like mogals

wrong! best coaches hands down at momentum

in my mind HN and Momentum are the same goodness. I would Never go to COC...flat as a wheat field and you have to use the public t-bar. Have fun spinning 45 minute laps

that sounds sweet, I'm not in need of an amazing park considering my park skills aren't exactly insane haha. do any of them have out or park skiing or is that all basically closed at the that time of year? I'm not really expecting it, just sort of wondering.
