Ipod Shuffle Battery Life

So i was thinking of asking for a shuffle for xmas to ski with so i wouldnt have to worry about my video getting messed up. I was just curious how the battery life on these things were... so does anyone know?

Its epic. I could go weeks on a full charge. That was with the first gen too. I imagine battery quality has only improved.

It is 12 hours with a full charge, but youll probably only ever get close to 11 straight hours. get one if your gonna ski with tunes, and for the love of god if you like your current ipod dont ski with it.

i think i read somewhere it was somewhere around 12 hours

ive only had mine die on me once and it was on a 7 hour drive after skiing with it for two days before that

i always have it in my laptop though just cause i always change around my playlist
there awesome for skiing i just clip it to my goggle strap by my ear and i can just skip and pause and shit so easily

i have an auxillary plug in my system in my car so i can plug my shuffle into the stereo...and sometimes i accidentally leave my shuffle on overnight and it still has power in the morning. must-buy

yeah, its supposed to be 12 hours continuous playback, but i can ski with mine about 2 weeks 3 hours a night without charging it
