i think you'd be fine if you only ski 1-5 pow days a season.

fairly wide? 83mm is not a fairly wide ski these days lol...i skied at jay last year in 3ft of fresh with my invaders cause i had no other choice. yeah skiing lots of very light snow was awesome, but riding invaders wasnt so much. riding at mt snow, yeah it'l be fine for a day or two a year, but if you can get urself something thats stiffer and more like 100mm. the skis being so flexy and being centermounted just isnt so much fun. if theres enough snow you'l nosedive if ur not waaaay backseat

they work fine for me in pow, im 5 foot 95 lbs and on 151's and there fine in heavy west coast pow (grouse mountain powder)

get em dude its not like you need fatter skis for the east coast they are a sick jib park ski amazing flex and pop
