Dave,
The only big tax that I have seen Paul feel very strongly about cutting is the income tax.
Watch this
http://youtube.com/watch?v=saDw03JXigA-Perhaps when you have to start working on your own and you see a good 40% of your paychecks diminished from the income tax you may change your opinion about taxes. I do not want to work for the government so they can try and waste my money away on a bunch of bullshit I do not agree with.
NCLB is a joke. The worst solution to any problem is to keep throwing more and more money at it. If president bush wanted to pay for NCLB out of his own pocket that is fine with me, but it is not the peoples responsibility to waste away their own money that they worked hard for on some flawed system such as NCLB.
Yes, getting rid of the income tax is a big thing and I would love it because I actually get to keep my fucking money that I work hard for. There are other taxes that Paul would leave and they would do perfectly fine to fund governmental agencies. The income tax wasnt established until 1913 I believe. The income tax money is mostly used outside of our own fucking country so in my opinion it is bullshit. I never see any benefit to myself or my family from the income tax.
Ron Paul is not about cutting away all taxes, watch the Meet the Press youtube and you will see him explain it himself.
