Ron Pauls campaign is fucking AWESOME!! IM so fucking stoked to be a supporter of Ron Paul. NO way in hell did I ever think he could pull all of this off. This is incredible.
HAHA how can you say that as an obama supporter (
Quoting Elijah.$ from Dec 20 2007 6:12:19:
Obama pwns both of them.) If that isnt the biggest douche bag bandwagon, I dont know what is. (note i like obama, but most of his voters are retarded.)
I can tell you many reasons I can say that. Ron Paul is the biggest hyped candidate on NS, and I can say that some/most people only support him for one of his policies (legalizing marijuana). I in fact support the legalization of marijuana, but I disagree with most of his other policies. I've researched most candidates, and Obama seems to be the one guy that I agree with the most on most of his policies, and especially because of his strength as a public speaker. Anyone can jump on bandwagons, but most people don't realize that a lot of people actually jump on said bandwagons because of actual research towards policies.
Also, in the quoted post, I was referring to Obama being black, so he could own in a fight. I wasn't saying anything political, being that thread was mostly a joke anyway.
You are a fool.
Ron Paul's support base is not about marijuana you fucking idiot. Ron Paul's candidacy means so much more than that big guy. End Iraq War? Bring Liberty back to the American People like the Fathers intended?
What policies do you disagree with?
What do you agree with Obama about?
I for one, support Paul and have been since like April or May before he even had hardly any money, so would you please shutup about "ZOMG DONT SUPPORT PAUL JUST BECAUSE HE RAISED 6 MILLION!!!!"
Everything in life is a fucking bandwagon if you want to spin it that way. I mean NS is just a bandwagon, its like so gay right? I think you are just jealous that the Ron Paul bandwagon is fucking humongous. Its like a the fucking titanic of bandwagon, while the Obama bandwagon is tiny and is falling apart. Yes, Ron Paul has gained alot of popularity while Obama's has died out very quickly. I hardly see anything about him in the news anymore and if it is, its like a 2 second sound byte. I dont care if he is a good speaker. Personally, I dont think he is a good speaker. It takes him to long to make his points.
Obama is not completely black. He has White/Black parents FYI
Obama is also being propped up by big pharmaceutical companies.
If you take a look at Ron Paul, you might actually care about politics again. Thats the way it was with me. Politics is actually very exciting if there is a real candidate to support. Ron Paul is the first legit President candidate this country has had in a long ass time.
If you dont take part in politics, you are destined to be ruled idiots. There are alot of stupid people trying to gain power in this country. Its our job as Americans to keep them the fuck out.
Oh Jesus Christ, here we go again with the name calling. I'm a fool just because I don't agree to your standerds of belief? What are you, fucking 10?
I was making a point about the NS fanbase for Ron Paul, not his fucking candidacy. I disagree with the fact that he makes those promises, but in truth I seriously doubt he will fufill those.
I already stated my view on Obama, again, that doesn't pertain to the current argument.
We get that you support Ron Paul, get over yourself already. Come up with something better than, "please shutup about..." it makes you sound pretty dumb.
Yes, I'm spinning everything in life being a bandwagon? In the original post that your quoting, I referred to the bandwagon as supporting a certain candidate. I never said being on said bandwagon meant that it was gay.
Again, you go on with the name calling, "I think you are just jealous that the Ron Paul bandwagon is fucking humongous.". You yet again compare your dearest Ron Paul to Obama, saying Ron Paul has huge support, whereas Obama has little. Uh... Right.
Ron Paul certainly does have popularity, but I still don't see what you claim as Obamas dying out. Wait a second... actually try and think for this one. Who leads Ron Paul in raised money (overall), and support?
Oh yeah, that guy called Obama.
I wonder what news you listen to that has little to say about Obama, because I've seen an amazing amount of articles about him from many various news sources...
If you didn't care about whether he is or isn't a good speaker, why would you post your next two sentences? They both are stating your opinion (I thought you didn't care?) about Obama's speeches.
Then your ending argument is all about how Obama isn't actually completely black (why would you post that?), and how he is propped up by big pharmaceutical companies. Give me any legitimate source that supports your wild claims.
The link you posted was a column done by John Baer. Sure it states a lot of numbers, but where does he get them? And Obama seems to come in third for most of the sectors, and Romney is ahead of him in second...
Yes, I do get worked up over this shit sometimes. This is my future. Its very important to me. I just get pissed off when 18 year old idiots can talk all the shit they want about Ron Paul and then when I call them an idiot, they are like "ZOMG, LIKE I HATE PAULS SUPPORTERS! THEY ARE MEANIES!"
Sorry if I come off bluntly, but thats the way it is.
Why vote for a guy who will never be able to enact his great "vision" (a vision which seems to be racist as well), because he simply lacks utopian nimrods like rez here in the government?
I mean, come on man, it isn't like Paul can simply say that there shall be no more CIA, FBI or IRS and bam, it will be done.
Communism has its interesting ideas, and some good ones too... but in reality, it doesn't work. Paul is the same way. Good ideas, impossible to achieve. So vote for the guy who won't accomplish anything. woot!
Ron Paul offers true reform, but won't get the ticket, or accomplish any of his vision because everyone else doesn't share it. That's where he and obama differ. Obama is a great uniter. Paul is on the fringes with policy, even if he's strong in contention.
Huckabee looks good, but honestly, this country cant afford another republican.
Dude.
Ron Paul is not running for the democratic nomination.
Obama has to beat Clinton first before he can even run against Paul. Get that through your thick head.
You have just lost all privilege to participate in this discussion you MORON.
Secondly, I hate when people say "why would you ever vote/support someone who is not the favorite"
Are you kidding me? The whole point is to support the best possible candidate and spread their views so they CAN BE KNOW!!!! You idiots act as though once a candidate is not in the lead he will never change positions. Man some of you people dumb.
Obama is well within the margin of error everywhere, on all polls, against Hillary.
What YOU need to realize is that Paul is not in line with the current GOP base. He may be the "true republican", but no one gives a shit about that except idealists. The actual republican base doesn't even know about Paul, let alone would they vote for him. He ran for the GOP nod because as a libertarian he could not have won. He is running against people like Huckabee and Romney who play directly into the base. I mean, really, the only thing that makes Paul plausible for much of the GOP base is that he's white and educated.
You, and I, are in the demographic that wants to dream, and dream big. You're doing that. Great. Much of the base, though, won't support Paul because he's radical, when most of these people want security, and routine. They won't vote for him even if he's the best choice because of it. Romney or Huckabee stand a better chance simply because they are "pure blood" republicans. Paul is radical. He does not have the support of the base.
I mean, come on man, it's gonna be either a black man or a woman against a white guy for president. You don't think I know the odds are against the dems in the end? However, Paul cannot win. Obama can beat Hillary, and if he does, he can beat the GOP.
He's an amazing speaker, which goes a long, long way in winning over the other side. Paul has had no large public impact, yet. Obama is a uniter. Paul a divider (for better or worse).
I dont care what party he represents, Mike Huckabee is the FUCKING WORST candidate possible. Quarantine Aids infected people, are you serious!!!!! Nothing that piece of shit stands for is good.
I am a liberal and I say RON PAUL ALL THE WAY!
Ok, let just say every republican is a royal piece of shit, however Ron Paul is running on that platform and he is truly our best hope for this country. Sure, I disagree with many of his policies, however he really will take control of this country and get us out of this piece of shit neo-con rule. Last time I checked, Obama accepted funds from major defense weapons contractors and said he would invade Pakistan if
there were terrorists(woOoOoOo SpOoKy) there. We need total non intervention and our rights restored. RON PAUL.
look, why dont you actually debate rather than find minute errors in my sentence structure? It was obviously a mistake. You're only making yourself look unintelligent.
Think practically, suppose Ron Paul becomes the Republican front-runner, and wins the popularity of the country. Say it's 100% clearcut that he is going to win the election. Now picture all these rich companies suddenly offering him money to keep up the war. Think of yourself in that position. If you were offered millions to help their cause, would you say no? Ron Paul hasn't received backing from all the 'major defense weapons contractors' because he ISN'T a frontrunner.
good point, classic too. fight for the people but then when you get offered what the people aren't being offered take it and to hell with them. who knows what he would choose.
In most cases I would agree with you, however Ron Paul's whole platform has stood on his true views on issues. To tell you the truth, he doesn't care how crazy people think his views are. He will stick to them. Just look at his voting record as a member of congress. He ALWAYS voted against the war and any sort of law which threatened out rights (i.e patriot act). In a time when you were "terrorist" if you didn't support our country (after 9/11), Paul stuck to his views and voted against the invasion of Afghanistan. I can assure you 100% he would not accept those funds. He is an honest candidate who is brilliant and cares about this country.
Obama HAS to say that about Pakistan. He doesn't, he comes off as soft, he does, and he's a lunatic. But remind yourself, that he has consistently said that he would talk to our enemies an use diplomacy to resolve conflict.
Ron Paul is not the only "hope for america", and he isn't going to win the GOP...
