So I am in the process of getting my gear bought up for this season (I broke last years gear in many pieces so it's time to fork over the money) and I have run into a few issues.
Boots were easy - get a new pair of 1080s. i loved them, and decided to give them a go again.
Skis..thats a different story :)
I was going back and forth between motherships and skogen sprang pros. Im a whore for the park, but at the same time, I'd rather spend every waking moment in waist deep freshies. After about 2 months of debating with myself, I decided I will go with the motherships and then when I can afford it, also pick up a pair of skogens.
Next came the bindings. I had my heart set on the line reactor bindings, but due to a few issues, line didnt release them this winter (they are slated to arrive for the 04/05 season) so I had to start a search for conventional bindings. i decided upon the rossi scratch 140s. Now my problem with the bindings is this. I remember last year people's bindings were blowing up on pocket rockets because the legs werent wide enough and when the brake would activate, the fat ski would put pressure on the legs and they would eventuall break off...will i experience this with the motherships with the 104 bindings? anyone have any experience with this?
thanks for any help :)
