buy a size to big, if it still dosnt work also take out the padding, you cant really use a long beenie, so you'd have to fold it to make it fit, but it'll work

Typically if you can fit a beanie under your helmet it is not fitted properly. Just buy a warm helmet or one with vent you can open and close.

just put your goggles on, then jam the helmet onto your head as much as you can. the more uncomfortable the better.
goggle gap on purpose=so hot right now

buy a size larger than necesarry when fitting it on your bare head. i dont really want to hear any safety police "oh mannn, wear it hows it supposed to be worn you fucking trend whore, wearing it like that defeats the purpose of having a helmet!!!!" ive crashed onto my head hard enough for a concussion many times had i not been wearing a helmet, and was fine for the most part.

my encore fits great with padding in, no beanie.
butttt, my ears get cold as shit, so i take the padding out, rock the beanie and the under strap goggs. so much more comfy too, warm and dope

Wash your head in really hot water, then tumble dry yourself on the highest heat setting for about an hour. It should shrink your head just like it does my t-shirts.

if i was blazed i would laugh at that one..... but i'm not
yeah you can just take out the padding or get a size bigger, prob better to go big so you don't lose the protection of the padding

nooott true, its so much warmer and more comfy when you just take out the pads that are there for comfort rather than saftey and put a hat under it with your gogs

last year i just took my protec skate helmet and removed the velcroed padding from the back. worked great for rails and woods, probably not so great for actual impacts.

The padding in a helmet is not what protects your head, it is the styrofoam type substance that the helmet is made out of. They are made to crush on impact thus absorbing the blow. If you want to wear a beanie instead of the padding go for it. Just make sure the thing sits on your head correctly. No slopping around, not too high on your head.

skate helmets are not suposed to be exposed to 32 below weather so the padding freezes/doesnt work

The answer to your question is basic common sense... Buy a larger helmet.

having goggle gap on purpose has got to be the worst idea ever. First off, your forehead gets cold. Second of all, by definition, you are a gaper. Good work.

I take the liner out and when it's cold I can get away with leaving the ear pads in while having a beanie underneath. It's actually quite comfortable.
