Alright I'll first start this off by saying to the mods that I absolutely do not work for Ken Jones so I'd appreciate it if you didnt delete this. Anyways about a week ago I went to Ken Jones to get a pair of Booster straps and I had them mount them onto my Salomon 1080 boots (the old neon green ones). So about 30 minutes later I went back and grabbed my boots, however I noticed there was a chunk of plastic about the size of two or three quarters missing from the top part of my ski boot. I brought it up to the manager Jeff Warren and he immediately said we'll figure out what happened so he went and asked the kid who mounted the booster straps onto my boots. The kid said he didnt do it and it wasnt his fault and continued to deny that he did it (obviously lying to save his own ass). This really made me mad because why would I lie about a chunk of my boot missing when I clearly brought them in fine condition. So Jeff Warren realized what happened and instead of trying to blame it on me he immediately offered to get me a brand new pair of 1080 boots. In the end he wasnt able to get the 1080 boots for me so instead he gave me store credit for the full amount that I originally payed for the boots which I still had the original box and I showed him that I payed $390 for them (keep it mind that the boots are still in fine working condition they just are now blemished with a chunk of plastic missing from the top). Without any hesitation he gave me exactly $390 store credit AND he let me keep my boots. I ended up buying a pair of this years K2 Public Enemies with the credit and they even gave me the 10% newschoolers discount on the skis so I didnt have to pay a penny. I just really wanted to post this to say that even though one of there workers messed up they still showed extreme customer service and showed that they really value what people think about them as a company. Sorry this is so long I just truly felt that they deserved some recognition for this great deed. Finally they def show respect to newschoolers.com as a community by offering us the 10% discount.
