Replying to Crashing, mid follow-cam?

Was just thinking, all these sick follow-cam shots that are out there..

I wonder how often filmers fuck up off the jump, smash themselves and screw up thousands of $ worth of equipment??!!

Could be a pretty expensive edit!
Anyone had an experience like this?
