So I have a bunch of gouges on the sides of my topsheets of my foils, and the core (or close to it) is exposed. Is this bad in that water will seep in and make the ski heavier? If so, is there anything I can do to waterproof it? I tried epoxying the gouges, but dont know how much that will do. Thanks.
i dont know if the gouge near the core will make it any heavier but it will start rotting the cre if you leave it the way it is so cover it up quick before the seasin starts
how so? i don't see how topsheet damage really affects the skis performance other than attracting water. i dont realllly have the money to get new skis right now
or just drip shit loads of p tex in there
how do you think water doesnt seep in there from the bottom
and then you can ski fast with your skiis upside down
