cable and dsl site shutdown

at&t cable and verizon dsl have decided to block all outgoing http data on port 80, which means you cannot host a web site on either service anymore. its fuckin lame. anyone else know anything about this?

I read that today on news.yahoo.com... does that mean that you can't even transfer files on stuff like ICQ? That'd be damn annoying.

Code Red is just fucking everything up... That is really lame how they are blocking data on port 80 however that is one way to stop the spreading of Code Red.
I was having problems with my ozskier.com and ozcreations.org dns servers because of that f'in thing. Nothing as major as what happened here!

harvey, icq should be all set cuz its a direct connection but idunno over what port but i know its not 80. port 80 is reserved for web/http requests. going back to school and sittin on the school network won't come fast enough for sas.. haha
