I read this after listening to the new wu tang for the last 3 weeks. It hits the nail right on the head.
Its too bad that this is what is happening in rap right now... even when its good, its not going to be as good as it used to be.

It seems like every Wu tang album since they came out has been set up to fail horribly, forever and its constant pushbacks... and the last few just kind of being shitty overall. All the arguing and primadona behavior. As soon as I stopped hearing this album and it was over, I immediately thought that it was ahead of its time and wont be really good for a few years... its gotta age. Ironically enough, 36 chambers was just like that, its better now than it ever was. Unfortunately for 8 diagrams, society isnt all about things that are ahead of their times at the moment. Too bad.
I like it, it has its pitfalls, but better a new wu tang cd, than a new 50, Common, Diddy, or snap rap album. Ill have to make sure that I pick it up in a few years and see if it has ripened with time.
