but seriously, take it back to the old school, if you have any skill at all, the high dammage, but slower rate of fire weapons will own.  the m-16 anihilates, sometiems one, most of the times 2 bursts and they are dead.  its just 2 bursts then move on to the next dude.  the M-14 is good as shit too, but you gotta remember in close quaters to go into panic mode and just start shooting everywhere as fast as possible hahahah

ok the difference between a noob and  a pro is all about the silencer. stop being a baby and learn to use the gun sights. i use an m16, with stopping power with a silencer. your undetectable on radar (unless theres uav), and it takes like two sprays to kill a dude.

Yes, but i only use it on smaller maps, or i get in a tight situation, since the other weapon i usually carry is a sniper rifle.

long range maps- m16 wid red dot
close range- uzzi with red dot....

I like to run with the M-4 with the red dot and if I need more distance I like the M-14 sniper rifle. The trick with that is to mooch off the dead and grab a better short range rifle instead of your pistol. Run both of them with stopping power and deep penetration.

I recently finished 100 kills with the m21 (the first unlocked semiautomatic sniper rifle) and got the acog.

The gun originally comes with a 10x site, but the acog is 4x and as such offers a more balanced optic. I prefer the semi automatic fire setting on the m21 aswell, and prefer its comparably lower recoil (in comparison to the dragonav) 

if I was to go down the list, these are my favorite guns:

g3 with acog

m4 with red dot

m16 with acog

m14 with acog

m21 with 10x or acog

r700 with standard site

m249 with red dot

p90 with red dot

My favorite two guns are for sure the m21 with the acog or 10x, and the m14 (the fully automatic version of the m21) with the acog.

request to join the COD4 cult. O and I do G36 w/ the red dot or P90 w/ the red dot. The acog throws off your accuracy and eliminates your close range abilities altogether.

i rock bitches with that setup.


The M16 with the red dot scope is good too, even though its one of the first guns you get.
One good burst with it will drop anyone unless they use Juggernaut (extra health perk.)

martyrdom is pretty lame.
i prefer Last Stand.. it actually requires skill.
martyrdom is a bitch perk that you occasionally get lucky with, but any skilled player can dodge the martyrdom grenades with ease.

ahh. i get so mad at last stand guys. I know exactly when i should drop someone and how many bullets it should take so i can usually just pop and go, but the damn last stand guys throw it off and i get all messed up and thrown off rythym, or just run of bullets and get killed.

yeah i'm pretty good. the kids i play with are realllly good too though. like in the top 900 on like thier friggin 5th or 6th prestiege.  i take big breaks so i'm no where near that haha.

^^agreed, martydom is kindof bitch. especially how the grenades are so powerful that if you step anywhere near it it kills you.  buuuut, last stand is gay too, it barely ever works, and i hate how kids always stell your kills with it.  but if you know whats best you will use martydom, hands down it will get you more kills, no matter how gay you look doing it.

hahahha wow alright, i'm gay for stating the obvious best gun in the game (med-long range). 1-2 or 3  bursts to kill, a pretty large clip, easy to use, fast to reload.  you cant even argue that the gun isnt the best.  but i do not use it unless kids start talking shit because i gotta get xp for other shit.

by the way, G3 is officially my favorite gun, from the 2nd- to like 6th or 7th, or whatever prestige i'm on, the gun rips people up. iron sight all the way.

I've played COD4 PC way too much and I found that the best gun at relatively close ranges is the Skorpion Red Dot combo w/extra nades, whatever the fast shooting perk is and extreme conditioning.

So god damn effective, I was a doubter with the Skorpion until I saw someone else using it, I swear by it for small maps.

the thing that annoys me the worst is that i love playing domination but i'll be working my ass off trying to get flags and protect them but there will be like 3 guys on my team with fucking snipers not even worrying about the flags. does this piss anyone else off? i've seen where they'll be camping in windows over looking flags that we don't even have. IT DOESNT MAKE ANY FUCKING SENSE!!!!! eh fuck it, thats why i never plug in my mic, i know i would get so aggrevated at people haha.

like the kid said above, the scorpion is a sick ass gun for close range. and so is the ak47u. both with the red dot. but personally, i never use snipers. for long range, i have my faithful ak47 with the red dot site. the g3 is sick too. i try out a lot of the guns to get a lot of xp points like right now, i'm currently using the uzi to get the marksman. makes the game fun and shit.

some of you may call me an asshole but i find it funny making my clan tag whatever the clan in the current game is. some people really get so pissed off. i'm sorry, its just too funny.

The P90 is really inaccurate though. It's good for close encounters but heres what I find myself using:

Big games(25-30 people):
M14 with red dot (I like the single fire)
Frag x3
Stopping Power
Martyrdom (I wanna stop using it though...its really gay haha)

Small games(less than 25):
G36c with silencer
Bandolier
UAV Jammer
Martyrdom

I like hunting down campers. It's so fun playing with silencer and UAV jammer cause your totally invisable on the radar!
