Cork 5's

Ok I have my cork 3's down but for some reason 5's are kicking my ass. I'm on my tramp right know but whats are some tips to throwing these clean? My air for the 5 but for some reason my cork dissapears at the 3 and breaks apart. Any suggestions??

try it like a less inverted underflip. or you can do a cork 3 and then add a 180 at the end.

barely throw it, just lean back into your cork and reach for the grab, youll most likely spin a 5

I've been trying them a bit lately. A guy I ride with says to throw it like a normal 540 but look under your armpit instead of over your shoulder. I cork naturally a bit when I do opposite grabs, but I don't have the balls to go for an all-out cork just now - I'll have to wait until I get on a trampoline or powder kicker before I'm read to just huck it.

i throw mine liek acork 7 just less spin and just look around and stop your head at 540 thasts how i do mine

I learned how to throw those this summer, and i can throw them on a diving board like a pro.... i do a 180, then once im facing backwards again, i try to throw my feet around till they're pointing back up the hill, and then get ur feet back to the ground, almost like a 180 to a switch cork 3..... they feel pretty natural to me, and i learned them pretty quick

ok, if you're having trouble getting it up to five, drop your shoulder a little later than on a 3. you'll fine cork 5s are much easier to land that 3s once you regularly can land both. just drop your shoulder a little later and bounce higher

iv'e dialed cork 5's, always lose it on cork 3's. i never come out of my cork. i always land on my knees.

what bristolrider said is true. i was trying underflips and i wasn't getting all the way inverted, but there were some nice unintentional cork and flat 5's that day.


and i did get that underflip at the end. the styliest trick. ever.

i got some free advice when mike nick's camp rolled though the jump i was hitting at okemo. he told me to look under my left armpit and rotate the 5, it worked perfectly.

just throw it like a regular 5 except instead of looking up, look down under your armpit and throw your trailing arm more vertical than horizontal.

well, news flash for u, boys: trampolines are way different than snow. forward momentum has a lot to do with it. and jerk off can throw sopmeting on a trampoline. grow some and try it for real
