There is no reason listed, but based on who deleted the thread, I would say that the thread was either requested to be deleted o rit wasn't legitimate

I wasn't the person who deleted it, but I can almost guarantee it's because it was advertising.

well see thats what the im not so sure about. it didn't seem like advertising, it was a contest just like the create-it one by rossignol last year

ya, plus it's a contest. it's not like buy our skis right now, it's design a ski. i've posted 4 skis and i haven't even looked at their skis since the contest started. p0retty much no different than someone getting on and saying "dood, i went in to autumn garage and got some sick new surface skis. surface skis are sick." ya? surface skis. autumn garage.

Yeah guys it was me... sorry we didn't catch it earlier.
It is really important to maintain our rules of zero free advertising by companies in the forums. It just can't work that way! So I've gotten in touch with them and we'll get the contest up on the site somewhere for you guys to check out.
If you're stoked on the bluehouse ski contest then by all means chat about it in the forum! We just can't have people from the company blatantly advertising... and a contest sure is advertising!

Or you could go over to TGR and post in the thread there. They don't have any problem with it.

TGR has a way different business model than us. They get their money from DVD sales, so it doesn't matter as much as to whats on the site. For us though since its strictly ad based we've got to police our forums a little harder.
Its totally cool if people talk about it in the forums... just not company representatives.

i think thats fair. They could really care less what is one their site, ns is basically just a website so they should care.

so can we create another thread talking about it, without it getting deleted?

as long as it's not a company representative.
