Whats would be your defintion of someone who's addicted to marijuana? or do you believe marijuana is even addictive...

It's impossible to become physically addicted to marijuana, but if you do it a lot life will seem pretty dull without it.

I know someone who last year would smoke pot occasionally like at parties and shit. I see him back over the summer at lunch and he's high! He comes to class everyday from smoking some pot at lunch. So insane. I think that, you could call addicted. No?

yeh its addictive not phisically though but when i smoke alot i find it really hard to stop smoking, and if i smoked alot like 4 times a day for a year i would think it would be really hard to quit.

its not impossible to get addicted to at all, true it doesnt have any physically addicting chemicals like nicotine in tobacco but it can be very much so psychologicaly addicting. There have been numerous studies on this and its true, ive kind of felt how it has been that way too.

i wouldn't call it addictive, but i haven't smoked for 2 days and i cant smoke until next summer and everything, is boring and i am REALLY parinoid, but i can sleep and function just fine without it.

when people feel they need to do every activity while high. Its not addicting though, this summer I smoked every day and now I smoke prolly once or twice a week. i feel fine.

The thing about mental adiction is that it is just that, mental. It's your choice. And what that kid was saying about people being mentaly addicted when they smoke before they do everything, that's not true at all. I was smoking an 8th every couple days all summer and i was constantly stoned, but it was by choice and because it was everywhere around me, so it wasent a problem. There were a couple times when i was dry for a few days and me and my friends were totaly fine, just going on with our daily activities like we would anyway but without the smoking.I also found out a couple weeks ago that i had to take a drug test to work at walmart, and stopped cold turkey, from constant every day smoking to nothing at all the next day, and i'v been fine and just as happy since. That's why they call it MENTAL. I'll tell you somthing though, after i take the test tomorow i'm going to smoke and get more stoned than I have in probaly years.
