So what are your opinions on the park setup so far?

Discuss the park setup as it is...
I wish they had a rail setup that was 10-15' long and low to the ground, with a small gap on. Something good for learning rails. The old shotgun rail (if it still exists) would be perfect for this I think. Not ride on either. Small gap with a nice, well maintained jump. Those short 5' rails aren't good for learning to slide rails and making the jump from boxes to rails.
I do really like the propane tank, flat box, and rainbox box and think they are setup very nicely with gap ons, and nicely shaped take-offs.
It would be awesome if the features were laid out similarly and then more jib features along the left side, instead of that useless little tabletop jump, which belongs in the beginner park anyways. Have some more jibs setup on a table over there. The way things are setup, once the jump line is up, KB could have a legitimate slopestyle course, with a bunch of jib hits, then the 2 bottom jumps in the jump line.

I like the idea of a long low rail. But other than that, the setup's pretty fun so far. There's alot of fun things you can do around those 5 jibs, plus the patrol and park crew aren't caring if you throw up a small jump on the mounds, my friends from schuss were hucking backflips off of it. lol.

those flips were ridiculous.
so far the park is pretty good considering that its opening weekend. but i agree that theres not to much you can do on a five foot rail. other than that, the only thing that would be nice would be a decent jump of two

I believe it's an 8 foot rail. :)

i think that its the best preseason park that kb has ever set up, i hope that it is a sign for more good things to come.

Anyone going tomorrow? I don't have any exams... and I don't want to study or work, so I'm going to KB. Just wondering if anyone has similar goals.

So...
I definitely liked the flat-box set up as a down box more than a flat. The rainbow lost it's gap, likely due to the rain. It's still good though.
The candy cane is not the best setup. The jump is too little and you need to carry too much speed to get on and you end up clearing 65 percent of the rail.
Hopefully with the new fresh snow coming, some of the stuff will be revised.
