It isn't as much that one must consider one's self classy, it's more of a necessity to have class within one's life.  That's how I view it - though the title of the cult is more or less a blunt description of the threads. I do get your point, though it isn't as arrogant as it seems.

I enjoy a fine multiple course meal, golf, reading the business section of the newspaper, going to museums, crew, reading Vergil and Cicero (in Latin of course), and wearing loafers/collard shirt to my studies.

i am the epitome of class. when im not skiing nothing makes me happier then a good game of croquet or polo, so long as it doesnt interfeer with my nap hour.  caviar and spirits top of a stellar afternoon of stogies on the porch dressed in my smoking jacket.  i enjoy the finer things in life.
