She's never been fair with punishments or anything but lately it's gotten out of hand. I got my car taken away yesterday, which I paid for including insurance, gas, repairs, because I said "I already told you" after she asked me for the 5th time if I was skiing today. I didn't say it mean in any way and she flipped out and starting screaming at me saying how snotty I am to her. Well I'm not but I'm not going to do anything nice for her anymore. She yelled at me this morning because I wanted to bake the cookie dough she made. She actually yelled at me because I wanted to help. I accidentally got 1 fucking piece of dog hair on her and she flipped out saying how I ruined it. She had been baking in it and had flour and dough all over it. I mean I know parents arn't always perfect but seriously, this is just retarded.
if it's directed at everyone in the thread then yeah my post sounded pretty bad on my part but believe me I highly respect both my parents and all they do for me.
yep. i use this a lot too, but it took a while for her to quit acting like the immature one. in those cases i would just keep contact as minimal as possible, and still listen and stuff just don't talk. after a few times of you being the "adult" of the fights, she will realize she is being a bitch, and unreasonable and she will start to see both sides of the story...
dude, i'm new here but i read this whole thread and my mom is single too and works alot which sounds like maybe your mom does too. i can usually tell when she's tired and i try to go out of my way to be extra helpful and it works like a charm. i've noticed i get better results with that then pissin her off. sometimes when i really think about i realize she's done alot for me, maybe yours has too if you think about it.
