Alright to start off i know everybody gets shin bang and it sucks and everybody make threds on it and so on and so on..anyway i have really bad shin bang right now..so i wanted to find something that i could use so that i could ski tomorrow..so i found something and it works really really good..and it cost under 2 dolllllla....its padding that i cut that i put in my boot and my shin dont hurt at all in the boot right now..and i think you guys should try it out considering it cost 2 dollllaa..so anyway here are the pictures of it...
You'll need a strap around those to keep them from falling out. All the foam I've tried breaks down and compacts after a bit, you'll have to make a lot of em.
no it doesnt move and ahvent you guys seen liek shin tronic and other shit they are way bigger then mine...but dont be doubtfull..it is better then spending 65$ for a shintronic
Most shin bang is from landing backseat and having your muscles/tendons/whatever in your shin be strained, not from impact on your shins, so that might help a little bit, but I don't think it will fix the root of the problem.
i get shin bang in the front so this fills up your boot so that there isnt any space and its nice and soft like if you look at the shintronic its the same idea but 65$
what if you just tightened your boots more so there is no gap. i were lange racing boots and never get shin bang cause i make sure there is no play between my boot and my leg. sweet idea though.
a bootfitter also told me to put the regular power strap underneath the plastic, around your liner, before you do up your buckles. this helps keep the back of the boot moving with your leg when you flex, rather than just the tongue pressing forward .
ive tried it before but then the foam just eventually had too much pressure on it for too long and it just became flat and i had terrible shin bang after that
Never in all 7 years ive been skiing have i ever gotten shin bang from actually landing hard and banging my shin. You get shin bang from landing backseat. Like someone stated above.
ive gotten alot of emails asking its not working its not working...how come..what do i have to do..the answer is yes you have to write no bang on them beaucse of the measurments of the foam writing No Bang! on them softens up certain parts of the foam pad witch makes it work WELL with your shins!! great chrsitams giftt as welll
Well maybe if he had just boughten propor fitting boots instead of SPK's because they're SPK's he'd be happier. When the boot is done up and it fits well, it should be tight on your shin, so I don't see where chunks of foam would fit in there. If a boot is loose enough for foam to fit in there, there is no way it's providing the propor support.
