My name is Jesse Lakes and I am the owner of Niftytricks.com. I write to inform you that I am throwing in the towel and would like to give you a heads up that Niftytricks is now available for sale.
Niftytricks has been live for nearly seven years and boasts over 180 pages of rich content and media relating to freestyle skiing, snowboarding, skateboarding and kayaking. Specifically tips, tricks and techniques for these extreme sports. Although the site has been mostly neglected for over five years a mailing list of over 1900 address is steadily growing and a dedicated community is still present. The site is also very well placed from a search engine standpoint. A full list of statistics, user demographics and other related metrics are below.
An ideal buyer would be one that already has an extreme sports site but is looking for rich content to aid the sale and positioning of their products or is looking to move into other related extreme sports.
If you even have the least bit of interested please make me an offer. I have no clue what the site is worth and am willing to talk to any party that is interested. I have an appraisal coming in for the site and I will use that as somewhat of a guideline but I need to sell the site in the near future.
My reasons for doing this are many and varied. I started this site my freshmen year of college and have frankly given up trying to be a pro athlete. I have no time to keep the site updated by myself nor do I have the money to pay staff and I have worked my friends for too long on empty processes of it going big. Finally, I am in somewhat of a financial pinch with my current mortgage being one of those damn adjustable rate mortgages.
