Ski length ?

Ok i know this is a newb question but, what ski length should i buy ? i am 180cm.
And please don´t say "ohhh your such a newb" i know so i said it was a newb question :P ;)

im  a litle less and i have 180 so you should definately get some 180 nothing lower i got the spk their  realy sick but if your starting since they dont make flyers in your size you should get some 181 trhuster their a little softer. Of course you can chek the other companies just i ski on salomon so that s why i refere you to this company.

If you are just starting to ski, I would get soemthing a little shorter because it's easier to control, and you won't need the extra length for stability on big landings. I'm 180 cm (6') and I ski 164s, but I find tehy are way too short. i think soemthing in teh 170s would probably be good.

if you are a noob and all i would say you should go with 176s give or take a centemeter that will allow you the best control and best overall performance

Sorry... but all of you are kind of wrong.

The main things depend:

How good of a skier you are
What your going to be sking the most (pow, bc, park, rails, moguls, etc)
weight
and height


Then you can go from there, on more specifics of the ski such as width, flex, length

^^ I don't know my philosphy is for someone that wants to ski just all mountain or powder the ski should be a few centimeters taller than your head. For all mountain with a heavy emphasis on park i say as tall as your height. if you do park and want something that will preform bests for all aspects go with about to your eye line. If you are strictly doing jumps and tryin to spin fast go with somethin around nose height.

i´m good skiier but now i want to try out the park and freeskiing, i´m not on the stage of learning to stop and turn hehe i want skiis for the park :P

so get a ski that is imbetween your nose and eyes that will ride the best for park
