I'm taking Honors Chemistry this year, and it's insanely hard. Yesterday I had to go in at lunch along with everybody except two kids in the class to finish a lab, so none of us got to eat. Then, the homework was impossible, so everybody in the class had to stay after school till 5:00. And this morning we had to go in at 6 A.M. so she could help us review for the test. I swear, this class is basically taking over my life.


Girls don't like sensitive guys. Since I don't treat women like objects, I have to treat objects like women.

dude, chemistry was the only science i did good in in school, its not that hard, i had a really good teacher though (and yeah it was honors chem)

i took chemistry once...my teacher was the biggest moron ever. she had no idea what she was doing...such a ditz. but yea...i found it extremely hard with that teacher. i sucked at it.

i took chemistry sophomore year then ap chemisty junior year, didnt have much trouble with either one, i did have good teachers though. the thing is its a lot of work, its not hard its just shitloads. so if you stay on top of it it aint so bad.

I took all IB (international honors) shit in highschool except like 2 classes. Chem was fun cause our teacher sucked. Why don't you drop the class thhen? Honors classes mean nothing at all.

i was almost stuck with that stuff this year, but instead its astronomy and marine biology for me, which is much much better.

dude if you take AP classes you can get college credit....i haven't taken a single math class at college and never will because i got a 4 on my AP calc test and that got me 9 credits

haha, I know exactly how you feel. Me and ride1080 were in an honors chem class last year, and got raped @ the end of the year because the teacher was behind and thought it would be a good idea to do three and a half chapters in two weeks before the final. Needless to say I got a 90/200 on the final and a big happy C+ in the class. Now I am traumatized about science.

I was in AP chem at the begining of this year... SO FUCKING HARD. Luckily it's a block and a half which conflicts with my schedule at the other school I go to so WOOT I dropped it and they are going to let me do physics through Walden (the other school) which means EASY.

take physics...so much easier and u can acually use it in real life...unless u plan to persue a career in a some field involving chemistry.

im in honors chemistry too. somehow i am making a low A. I dont know what the hell is going on in it though and its not a whole lot of fun.

I'm taking IB Biology or IB chem next year (IB= international barraculate or something like that...basically a shitty honors class). Only problem is that that IB biology is a two YEAR class. That's going to be hell, but fun at the same time.

Please quit whining about high school chemistry. Even ap chem in highschool is not as rigorous as pre-med or engineering chem in college. You're actually taking honors chem where they aren't trying to weed you out of a pre-med or engineering program. So my advice is... get through it in highschool and get high enough on your AP, and get out of it before you go to college.

I took chem last year and it was cool cause my g/f was in the class and we'd just sit there and like make up fantasies about having sex on a lab table... But the teacher was cool cause he let us so i guess it would've sucked otherwise

Ap chem is so worth it to take in highschool. You don't need to shell out extra money to take it in college. And i'm taking it now and it isn't too hard. at least not as hard as a REAL college class would be
