Using Hellbents, or Bacons in the east can be doable because they're still somewhat conventional skis, and can be fun because of the rocker, or stability. Using ARG's on the east is just stupid, why wouldn't you use spatulas then?
If you think thats crazy, the REI in bloomington minnesota sells k2 pontoons. We don't even have mountains in minnesota. 2 inches of snow is a powder day.
i saw someone at Jay the other day on ARGs....wasnt in the woods, was on the trail......mind ou it was knee deep on trail in the morning, but still.......he had em out all day.
Actually I used them the other day at Jay Peak and I was chocking on snow all day and they made skiing the powder effortless. Obviously,theyre not good on groomers but if you can afford them do it. and it was probably me at killington opening day skiing them. ARMADA 4 LIFE !
