thank you for bringing up that key point no one else considered. What people have seen of heed was back in the days a blind sw up was a big deal and a 270 onto a park rail was hot shit.

Bro, don't waste your 1000th post on trying to support as shitty of an argument as that. He hasn't just been in edits, he scored a seg in Realtime and was obviously in Look It Up. He has slayed the rails in a way nobody has ever done before. Going that tech with that much style is just ridiculous.

man to each his own. i personally like both. I love Heeds slow style, the way he barley flinches on rails. But wallish get more tech. but with the vid being nearly 3 years a part, a lot has changed.

but how was their style 4 years ago??  the heed we are looking at is from 4 years ago, those guys have their style becuase of heed.  while they may be "better" and 'more technical" now, he broke that shit out back in the day, and didnt care if anyone thought it was cool or wanted to film him.  still doesnt. 

ive witnessed heed jibbing at stratton this year and im telling you he is still killing it, and i assume he doesnt give a shit if any of you ever see any of his footage ever.  thats part of the legend of heed, we may never know just how rediculously good he is or can be on rails.

Yo, don't be a shithead. I realize this is what ALL Heed supporters say, but fucking watch his Wicked seggy. There's shit in there that people just got around to doing last year. Heed put the groundwork down for guys like Wallisch, and I think that he could still bang out some dope shit FTW.

Beofre you guys continue hating on Heed, you have to realize the timeframe in which his skiing occured.  This shit is from more than 4 years ago.  He was revolutionary in terms of rail steeze and along wih Mickael, they both laid down some serious groundwork in terms of the style that most skiers try to emulate today.  watch any video with footy from that year (High Five, Yearbook, X) and see how the rail steeze is.   travis was ahead of his time.  as was mickael with his afterbang which everyone still measures up to

because he doesnt give a fuck about filming or newschoolers.  why cant people get that through their heads????  it has nothing to do with ability or anything.  park skiing has not passed the kid by, he would hang with the top skiers in the game if he wanted to put in ANY effort to a career, but he doesnt give a fuck.  he is killing it 10x harder than half the people we see in ski movies.

STOP THINKING WE HAVENT SEEN NEW HEED FOOTY BECUASE HE ISNT AS GOOD AS NEWER JIB SKIERS.  its just straight up not true

Tom Wallisch is the epitome of a fucking douchebag, anyone who has hungout with him should know this. It is so fucking queer how he thinks he is a gangster when he looks like a hunchedback version of Butthead from Beavis and Butthead. He is not hard, he is a pussy. Why wold someone try and act like they are from the innercity when they are obviously not? It confuses me. Its like that movie Malibus Most Wanted. Oh yea also Tom Wallisch sucks at the actually skiing aspect of skiing(not like most of you care about that) i watched an edit of him dropping a 4 foot cliff into another 4 foot cliff and for some reason somebody felt the need to edit out the landings of both. Maybe it has something to do with the GNARLEY BACKSLAP he does on the  landing of the next 10 footer he drops.

2. you just stated someone who is damn good at one aspect of skiing is not a good skier becuase you think maybe you might have seen a small flaw in another MINOR aspect in their skiing.  is that the aspect of skiing that qualifies someone as a good skier? why do people insist that being able to drop cliffs means youre a well rounded skier?  dropping cliffs takes way more guts than skill.  it doesnt mean youre a well rounded skier, and i give way more props to someone who can get super tech grabs with a cork 7 or has pretzels on lock down than to someone who makes a few turns and drops straight over a drop.

i know plenty of people who are VERY good skiers that are sketchy on even small backcountry drops, its just another aspect of skiing, not everyone skis every discipline.

however im brought back to my first point, watch the toto edit, wallisch slays some backcountry in that, and its way bigger than back to back 4 footers.

Get to know the kid.  He is extremely chill and as talented as any skier out there.  Tom learns tricks incredibly quickly and has such incredible style.  He does not think he is ghetto.  Just because someone wears baggy clothing and has sleepy steeze does not mean that they think they are a thug.  Yeah, he has hype surrounding him but that is because of what he has done on the hill.
