Does the server shut down at night?

I am just wondering, does the NS server shut down during the night time and then turn on at like 6:45. Because I logged on and no work, and now I got on with 24 members? I am confused...

There seems to be a reset or something that happens before 7am EST  for sure.

today is the first day in the last week or so that i was able to get on in the morning. but it works today, so whatever.

I pointed your thread out to Paul, and he had an idea of what was causing it.  Something to do with the nightly backups of NS... so the site is now backing up in some different way that theoretically won't cause this.
