so i have the deadbolts and want to know how i should set the forward pressure, can i set it harder that i don''t release to early??? i have a problem with prereleasing and i already set the din from 7 to lil bit over 9 (have the 412, 165 lbs), before i had some looks px12 i think, with the din set to 8 and they only released when they had to

i'd take them wherever you got them mounted, you shouldn't have to crank the din up by 2 and still prerelease if you used to have your din set at 8

I thought we had a thread about this before... maybe it was someone else. Anyways... the small screw below the din adjustment on the heel piece needs to be flush with the outside of the housing (when you are clicked in). Thats the correct setting. Maybe you have worn boots or something like that where it doesn't sit correctly. You can turn the screw in a couple of clicks to tighten it up. It could fix your problem (not that I recommend it). If not... remember +.5 din at a time.
All times are Eastern (-5)
