i have just had my new skis mounted with a pair of marker jesters. unfortunately for the ski tech and for me the marker jig was not wide enough for my skis, so he used the sticky jig (see through sticky plastic sheet) to mount them. on getting them home and having a closer look, i noticed that the break on one side of one ski skimmed the edge of the ski, whereas on the other ski, both cleared. thinking this was odd, i looked at the bindings on the whole, and noticed that they are in fact, mounted to the left of the centre of the ski. for example, the right edge of the toe piece is 75mm from the edge of the ski, but the left edge of the toe piece is 25mm from the edge. that is, of course, as opposed to being equidistant.
do you think this will affect the performance of the ski, hinder edging/carving etc. or do you think that the difference is so minimal that it wont affect me or the ski in any way?
any response to this will be greatly appreciated, as i am very anxious about this as both skis and bindings are brand new.
thanks
