Exporting help in Premier pro

Frame size can be anything, chances are the video is 720x480 when it's captured, so that's your max.  I find that 640x480 is 'big' and use that for high quality stuff.  Export it for 'Adobe Flash', the quality you can play with, I forget what I use, I think 2000 KBS, and that looks pretty good.  You could probably use 4000 if you really want.

Aspect ratio = width/height = 4/3 meaning for every 4 pixels in width, you have 3 pixels in height.  If you wanna play with the frame sizes, i do this:  choose the width then multiply it by 3/4... that is your height.

For brightcove.

For DVD, what is File - Export - Movie, and just use the standard no compression output.  Then I let whaever DVD program i am using encode it however it needs to.  DVD video COULD be uploaded I guess, but it'll be easier adn probably better quality if you use flash.  I don't think brightcove reencodes if you upload it in flash.

But I still don't understand what setting I have to choose under the pixel aspect ratio.  There are certain things like pal and ntsc and a bunch of other things.  What should i do?  Thanks again.

but then there are numbers like .9 and 1.4 and stuff after them, what does that mean?

I use 1.0 (I think it's a scaling factor or something)

it worked and everything, but the video comes out and it seems like there are lines and everything is like semi-squareish.  It may have something to do w/ interlacing or something (I'm a novice here lol), but I don't know.  How do I deinterlace it?  Thanks.  Mad karma for u man.

There should be an option to deinterlace.  If not, you can just apply it to every clip before you export it.
