what type of video file is it? .torrent is a torrent file not a full video file. torrent files are expanded into any of a dozen types of video files. Any of which can be converted to other file types. .avi is one of the better file types but you need a divx plug-in. If you have any questions, you can pm me. i've got a little experience in that field.

and yea in order to expand it you need a torrent client like transmission, utorrent or any of a million others. transmission is one of the best i've seen for mac.
