How to convert movies to itunes format

I would really like to find out how to do it to dvd's and just movies on my computer.

well the way i do it is i use Toast Titanium 7 can covert a ton of stuff u can likely get it off limewire or some other place and then get a serial number at serialz.to

an easier free way is to use HandBrake or HandBrake Lite. HandBrake just rips the DVD onto your computer, where HandBrake Lite rips it in iPod format. I also use a program called iSquint to take videos that I found on the internet and convert them to iPod format and then into my iTunes. Once you download them I'll tell you how to use them, i'm kinda busy right now but it's really easy.
