so me and my friends travel to vermont pretty often, always going to sugarbush. we would always eat in this place called The Den, it had some of the best food id ever eaten. but when we went there over thanksgiving, it was closed! i was really suprised, the place seemed to do really good business. can anybody offer me insight as to why this happened, or if it will re-open? it was the best restaurant in town, and we dont really know where to eat anymore, there arent a lot of places up there.
they have their menu posted but when i click on home it says its no longer active and takes me to madrivervalley.com or something. damn, they had the best pasta. thanks anyway, man
The Den was closed by the Welter family because the father had always planned on once his kids were done with school. He wanted to get out the restaurant business and spend his time focusing on other duties.
There are other great restaurants in town so don't worry, although it's sad to see the Den close, you can still get good food.
By the way, the conditions are amazing right.....and it's not even officially winter right now!
