Help with Look P12 demo bindings

So there is a pair of look P12 turntable demo bindings in the back of the ski shop I work at that have been completly forgotten. I was wondering if its worth picking these up to mount on a pair of skis or even just for parts? I'm not sure if the fact that they are demo bindings is worth actually using them. The plate that lets you change boot lengths on the fly must inhibit the ski flex right?

i dont think it would really hurt ski flex. if you look at most of the new skis coming out now, the companies make a plate that fits on the ski, and then put a binding on top of that. having that plate allows it to flex with the ski, and the binding to remain the same w/o hurting the flex. wouldnt a demo binding be similar just not as good. and yes, they are heavy as fuck

dont bother mounting them with demos. Demo bindings tend to break, and they are heavy and real tall. if you can pull the actual binder off, youd be fine, but im pretty sure the forward pressure plate that the heel attaches to is different than the normal one, (like built into the plate)
