Extracting music files for mac

I got a new mac and i use have windows. i use to have winrar but that doesnt work for macs. or does it i dont know. help me out. is there a program that can unzip files so i can download music from like megaupload and rapidshare?

macs will automatically unzip a .zip file, for .rar files and everything else you should use stuffit expander, its free: http://www.stuffit.com/mac/expander/
