yeah i'm sure the 90's O frames and 07 crowbars are exactly a like.

maybe not cosmetically but i definitely think lens technology, also probably ventilation, helmet compatibility and overall fit would have progressed

The 90's was not that long ago. There is only so much you can do with a goggle in 18 years. It has a simple purpose, it worked well back then, and it works pretty much the same now. This is one invention that really doesn't need alot of progression or thought. Perhaps fog resistance, better vision, clarity, and comfort doesnt seem like a huge advancement, well it isn't.

lens technology-

90's-single lexan lens, as sturdy as a piece of paper

Now-Dual plutonite lenses that are shatterproof and impact resistant with anti-fog coating on the inside and outside of the lense with extensive color options for all different types of weather conditions.

Ventilation-

90's-one small line of foam to keep hot air out

Now-Venting system on the top and bottom with vents on the outter lens to keep the cold air and hot air mixing so no fog starts on the inside or outside of the lens.

Helmet compatability-

90's-single shot strap that barely fit around a large head with SICK retro writing

Now-extra long, thick strap with rubber lining on the inside to stick to helmets and the outrigger system which is the best helmet technology any goggle company has produced which disspurses out all pressure of the helmet evenly so there is no distortion of the lens or uncomfort of any kind.

Overall fit-

90's-put these on...

Now-now put THESE on...

now shut your mouth. Oakley is the most innovative company in goggles and sunglasses and every year all other companys are struggling to even try to keep up with the technology they have. 

even compare the 90's oakley o-frame to the 90's smith whatchamacallits or any other shithole goggle back then

no offense but this has to be the dumbest thread i've seen in awhile. oakley is easily the leader in goggle technology/design and they know they are so they stick with what sells and is most responsive/compatible with their customers. their a smart company, notice how many people love the crowbars?

ALSO another point on Oakley's technology being at the forefront of the industry - this may be explained by the Australian and US militaries having used Oakley goggles for a LONG time - i'm sure this applies to many other countries too.

The military goggles have laser-proof lenses designed to protect the eye during combat. The consumer version we see is the good old A-Frame.

I'd strongly argue that nobody comes close when looking at lens technology.

Ok i am sorry for making a stupid thread you guys have proved me wrong that oakley has made there googles much better they may look somewhat the same but they still are way better now. Don't you wish Bush would apologize like this? hahah!!

ya... a crappy o frame is like no different than an a frame, wisdom, Stockholm or crowbar.
