Forecast i've heard was snow through mid afternoon then changing over to sleet then later in the night changing over to all rain. brian is right, if you are going to go, make it a day time affair.

If you're in Brookfield, drive up to Wirth Park (North & Pilgrim) and check out the bridge rails! I haven't tried in a few years. There's a parking lot about 1000 feet up Pilgrim from the railroad tracks that gives you a tow in from your car and then it's just a matter of can your car stop or turn before it runs out of parking lot and hits the creek. If nothing else, just go to check it out. I usually wait for the creek to drift over with snow because it's probably a 10 foot drop off the bridge. While your there, break some of the branches off the little tree at the end as I prefer the left side.
