i...i...i cant take that seriously for some reason. i thought i was reading an onion article the whole time no matter how many times i saw the ny times title...that is absolutely ridiculous. i feel bad that the girl killed herself but for some reason that article just seems fake to me somehow. i think the parents would be a little bit more umm sad? upset? i dunno thats so fucked up.

I have to assume that the girl's parents' lack of extreme emotion is due to the fact that the suicide happened over a year ago. They've been grieving for a long time. Don't judge the parents because they've regained some of their composition after their daughter's death.

I remember reading that in the Yahoo news like 3 weeks ago, and this story just elaborates on it. Holy FUCK that Drew hoe is messed up. That's some serious Westboro Baptist church type disillusionment. Though it does kind of piss me off that the state would pass that law. On one hand being the leading cause of a girls suicide should hold punishment, on the other hand, being punished for impersonal talk via internet should not. That feels like a loss of rights, though I do wish people who prey on troubled kids should be punished.
