it prob will affect it i rode them this summer and they werent core center but if its this years prob not as much cause of the rocker but other years it prob will make riding pow harder...i personally woudnt mount them center but watev ur call
my brother has last years 189s mounted at the core center arrow and they rip. they don't dive at all in pow and he rides them in the park with no problems. i'd suggest core center arrow for sure.
i mounted mine at true center, and they are super fun. Not really the best for "shredding" powder, if thats your sole purpose for them, but if you want a wider ski that you can jib around on in powder, then mount them center. just lean back... all day...because its worth it. I've only ridden them twice, but once getting used to them they are fantastic
